The platform is designed to streamline operational workflows and enhance customer-facing booking experiences. 2. About the Opportunity: The Software Engineer II role focuses on developing and enhancing the WordPress-based websites that enable outdoor hospitality operators to market their properties and manage online bookings. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving the integration between these websites and the broader platform, leveraging software engineering expertise combined with AI-assisted development to deliver reliable, maintainable, and efficient solutions. 3. Responsibilities: Develop and improve custom WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations connecting websites to the booking platform.Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and design.Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and architectural fit.Build frontend components using modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React where appropriate.Integrate WordPress with platform services and third-party APIs.Collaborate with infrastructure teams on CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring concerns.Reduce technical debt through refactoring and incremental improvements.Ensure performance, accessibility, SEO, and security standards are met.Troubleshoot bugs and customer issues balancing speed and code quality.Work with product managers, designers, and support teams to translate needs into technical solutions.Participate in agile development activities and contribute to technical documentation.Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests.Explore new tools and AI workflows to improve productivity and quality. 4.
