Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Build virtualized, hardware-accelerated solutions for cloud compute disk instances at global scale. • Develop platforms supporting high-performance read/write access to massive local datasets for databases, analytics, and AI/ML infrastructure. • Work across the full technology stack, from low-level hardware optimization to high-level frameworks. • Solve complex performance optimization problems at massive scale. • Influence product strategy for core cloud computing infrastructure. What You'll Need • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • 5+ years of programming experience in languages like C, C++, Java, or Rust. • Experience with Linux environments, including package management, version control, automated builds, and unit testing. • Proven experience in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including patterns, reliability, and scaling. • Experience mentoring, acting as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
