Description

Please note that Ninox is a recruitment agency acting on behalf of a client. All applications will be managed and processed by Ninox in strict confidence. About the role The company is a deep-tech organisation operating at the frontier of quantum-driven computing and large-scale optimisation, delivering production-grade solutions through a scalable quantum-as-a-service platform. They are now expanding their team and are looking for a Quantum Solutions Engineer to translate complex real-world problems into quantum-native formulations and deliver validated, production-ready solutions across multiple industries. This is a highly technical, algorithm-focused role combining quantum computing, optimisation, and applied research with real-world deployment. What you will do In this role, you will: Formulate client problems as QUBO, BQM, and CQM models using pyqubo and dimodDesign and validate quantum annealing pipelines on the Dynex network via DynexSamplerImplement Quantum Machine Learning models: QRBM, QNN variants, and hybrid architecturesPerform accuracy benchmarking and statistical validation of quantum outputsAuthor technical methodology reports, academic contributions, and PoC documentationSupport patent preparation and IP documentation for novel quantum algorithmsEngage across multiple concurrent industry verticals with consistent delivery quality Skills required QUBO / BQM / CQMPyquboDimodQuantum AnnealingQMLPython 3.10+NumPy / SciPyStatistical ValidationLaTeXResearch WritingGit Nice to have D-Wave Ocean SDKQiskit / CirqNeuromorphic ComputingPatentDraftingJMIR / arXiv PapersScientific Datasets The environment You will work in a highly autonomous, research-driven engineering environment where: You own problems end-to-end, from formulation to solution deliveryYou operate across multiple parallel industry use casesYou collaborate closely with senior technical leadershipYou move fluidly between research, modelling, and production-grade implementation The work spans multiple real-world domains including: Financial optimisation and risk modellingHealthcare and medical data applicationsSupply chain and logistics optimisationClimate, environmental, and infrastructure modellingData-intensive industrial systems What is offered Work on frontier quantum computing applications in production environmentsHigh autonomy and ownership over technical solutionsRemote-first contract engagementExposure to real-world industrial optimisation problemsOpportunity to contribute to research-grade outputs (papers, patents, methodologies) Additional notes NDA applies due to sensitive technology and client applications For more information or questions, contact zoe.lepluart@ninox-limited.com.
