Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Manager, Category Management to be based in foodpanda Singapore. This role will be reporting into Lead, Category Management in the Q-commerce team. The Category Management team oversees the strategic planning, development, and execution of product categories within the foodpanda groceries business. You will wear many hats and meticulously plan to scale the Singapore pandamart business. The candidate should have experience analysing new business opportunities and building strong partner relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. He or she is interested in creating a world-class customer experience, stays on top of industry and competitive trends, and is able to execute at both tactical and strategic levels to achieve long-term growth. Job Description We are seeking an entrepreneurial Manager, Category Management who will be responsible for the sourcing and merchandising of a category within foodpanda’s New Verticals team. Full P&L responsibility for the assigned categories, including revenue, margin & other supplier income.Develop and execute aligned category strategies to meet with KPIsEnsure pandamart has the right selections and best prices in the market.Work with existing suppliers to negotiate cost, funding and terms improvement, secure supplier marketing and advertising spend, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfilment centre.Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality, good value goods available to our customers year-round.Employ data-driven decision-making to drive the category. Work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supplyWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Imports, Pricing, Strategy, Finance and Marketing to deliver strategic projects that allow pandamart to offer the best customer experience.Spearhead commercial initiatives independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
