In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal parts availability and supply chain performance for the retail network in Poland and selected General Distributors in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine. You will oversee the Logistics Center Poland, manage key logistics partnerships, lead operational and strategic initiatives, and ensure that our logistics organization delivers premium service levels while maintaining cost efficiency. This is a highly visible leadership position requiring strong operational expertise, business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Your Responsibilities Lead Regional Parts Logistics Operations Ensure efficient and effective management of warehouse and distribution operations through our logistics partner. Oversee receiving, storage, picking, returns, claims, and transportation processes. Define and implement logistics and transportation strategies together with business units and regional stakeholders. Manage logistics performance, service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Act as part of the Cluster Parts Logistics Northern Europe leadership network. Drive Logistics Center Poland Performance Assume overall site responsibility for Logistics Center Poland. Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Manage site infrastructure, space utilization, and future development initiatives. Represent the Logistics Center towards authorities, external partners, and local communities. Lead budgeting, operational planning, and site governance. Optimize Inventory & Quality Management Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz inventory management standards. Lead inventory counting processes and stock accuracy initiatives. Optimize assortment management, returns, scrapping, and stock performance. Develop measures to minimize logistics losses and improve service levels. Strengthen Customer Support & Retail Network Performance Build strong relationships with dealers and General Distributors. Monitor order-to-delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Support regional Parts & Accessories growth initiatives. Ensure premium logistical support for internal and external stakeholders. Financial Planning & Business Steering Lead operational planning and performance controlling activities. Monitor logistics KPIs, budgets, service levels, and operational costs. Conduct business analyses and implement corrective measures. Drive efficiency improvements and cost optimization projects. Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams Define workforce planning together with HR. Attract, develop, and retain qualified talent. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Coach leaders and employees to achieve ambitious business objectives. Collaborate on Regional Logistics Strategy Partner with Global Customer Service & Parts (GCSP), regional functions, and local management teams. Contribute to strategic development of the Parts business and logistics network. Ensure implementation of regional and global logistics initiatives. Represent and promote the interests of Cluster Parts Logistics Northern Europe. Drive Continuous Improvement Lead transformation and optimization projects. Continuously improve warehouse processes, systems, and logistics structures. Leverage data-driven decision making and operational excellence methodologies. Support digitalization and innovation initiatives within logistics operations. QualifikationenExperience University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Extensive leadership experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, or operations management. Proven track record managing large-scale logistics operations and third-party logistics providers. Experience in an international and matrix organization. Budget and financial management experience. Technical & Business Skills Deep understanding of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and supply chain processes. Language Skills Fluent English and Polish.
