Tasks: Characterization of MMICs and RFICs in the micro- and millimeter wave range (>100 GHz)Carrying out on-wafer measurements using wafer probers (e.g.
MPI)Setup, operation and optimization of RF measuring stations (VNA incl.
extender, probe stations, load-pull / noise if necessary)Carrying out and evaluating S-parameter, power and linearity measurements (e.g.
IP3, P1dB)Application of calibration and de-embedding procedures (TRL, SOLT, LRM)Analysis and interpretation of measurement results and derivation of design feedbackAutomation of measurement sequences and data evaluation (Python, MATLAB)Support with silicon bring-up and validation of new designsCoordination with internal teams (design, test) and external partners if necessarySkills: Degree in electrical engineering, RF technology, microelectronics or physics or comparable trainingSeveral years of experience (approx.
