Software Engineer (Mid–Senior Level) Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia | Hybrid | Full-time, ongoing About Support Fusion The IT services industry runs on dozens of platforms, including ServiceNow, ConnectWise and Halo, and they rarely talk to each other. When they don't, people become the glue: copying support tickets between systems, reconciling invoices by hand, and losing sight of whether contracts are being delivered under the terms set out. Support Fusion is building the integration layer that connects the IT services industry. We keep tickets, customers, invoices and assets in sync across company boundaries, giving service providers and their enterprise clients visibility and confidence in contract performance, no matter what platform each side works from. We’re a venture-backed business, founded in Australia with customers around the globe. The role We're looking for a mid-to-senior Software Engineer to join a small, product-focused team. You'll work closely with our tech lead and founders to evolve Support Fusion's core integration engine: planning solutions, shipping code, managing infrastructure and testing it all end to end. It's hands-on work with real ownership, where your decisions shape the product and our customers feel the impact. What you'll work on · Building and scaling our event-driven .NET integration engine · Strengthening our multi-region architecture and how events flow between regions · Owning meaningful features or subsystems from design through to production · Improving code quality and architecture wherever you see the opportunity What we're looking for · 5+ years in software engineering with a strong grasp of OOP principles. · Solid hands-on experience with async programming, ORMs (like Entity Framework), and distributed systems. · Preference for JVM or .NET experience, though we value core engineering principles over specific syntax. · Experience with at least one modern front-end framework · A background in smaller, product-based companies: you're comfortable with ambiguity, happy to wear multiple hats, and care about what ships to customers · Product thinking: you ask "why" before building, challenge assumptions and explain trade-offs · Ownership: you spot problems and fix them without waiting to be asked · Pride in your craft: you leave code better than you found it Our stack · .NET 10 (async/await, minimal APIs, event-driven architecture) · React 19, TanStack Query · PostgreSQL · AWS (RDS, ECS, S3, SES, CloudWatch) · Terraform / OpenTofu · GitHub, GitHub Actions Our interview process We aim to keep things simple and be respectful of your time: A quick chat with our founding team to get to know each other, the product and where we're headingA technical interview where you'll work through a problem with us Details · Full-time role · Based in Melbourne or Brisbane, working hybrid If this sounds like you, apply via LinkedIn.
