## About the Role
Rula is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to serve as the technical individual contributor leader for the Provider organization.
This role combines deep software engineering expertise, architectural leadership, and cross-functional influence to guide technical modernization and growth across the Provider domain.
As a strategic partner to the Senior Director, the Senior Staff Software Engineer will help define the technical roadmap, establish engineering standards, and lead high-impact initiatives spanning multiple teams.
The successful candidate will bring extensive full-stack and distributed-systems experience, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to influence technical and product direction across stakeholders.
## Key Responsibilities
* Set the technical roadmap and engineering direction across the Provider organization.
* Establish and maintain engineering standards, architectural practices, and design patterns.
* Lead high-impact technical initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams.
* Serve as a principal or lead architect for a major product domain or engineering group.
