Our team provides reliable, robust and creative software solutions to ensure processing of cashless transactions in Europe and beyond. Day-to-day Responsibilities Agile, DevOps, cross-functional squad, distributed across Switzerland and ItalyVery committed to quality and operational excellenceWorking on the backbone of the payment services (in Switzerland and international) with applications processing more than 20 million transactions every dayDesign, build, test, and maintain new features for cashless payments with state-of-the-art technologiesCollaborate with product owners and business engineers to translate the clients’ needs into elegant technical solutionsWrite clean, well-documented, testable code and participate in code reviewsOwn deployment, monitoring, and incident response (3rd level support, on-call duty) for our componentsImprove performance, scalability, reliability and monitoring for our applicationsContribute to the optimization of our deployment infrastructure and to the future technology roadmap Who Are We Looking For Higher education in information technology (university degree or equivalent)Strong programming proficiency in Jakarta EE with fluency in relational databases and experience with Git, Maven, Quarkus, Docker, Kafka, LinuxTeam player and able break down complex problems and drive solutionsProven ability to work under pressure (e.g. major outages)Fluent in English.
