Full Stack Software Engineers (Mid & Senior Level)

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be working with a brand new FDI organisation who are establishing their engineering function in Belfast. As part of their initial build-out, they are now seeking Full Stack Software Engineers (Mid & Senior Level) to join a high-performing, engineering-led team delivering cloud, data, and API-driven platforms for enterprise clients. This organisation operates at the intersection of cloud engineering, data platforms, and modern application development. They partner deeply with clients, embedding into full project lifecycles and delivering systems that operate at real scale. The Opportunity You’ll join an engineering-led team delivering end-to-end features across web applications, APIs, and data services. You’ll work closely with product and delivery teams, contributing to architecture decisions, building reliable services, and helping shape engineering standards as the Belfast site grows. Engineers in this environment are trusted with ownership. From designing solutions through to shipping, scaling, and improving them in production. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript across frontend and backendDevelop responsive frontends using React (Vite exposure a plus)Build backend services and APIs using Node.js (NestJS beneficial)Design and consume REST and/or GraphQL APIsDeliver cloud-native services on GCP (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage)Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL / SQL Server) and data platforms (e.g., BigQuery)Contribute to event-driven systems and asynchronous workflows (e.g., Pub/Sub)Implement and improve delivery pipelines using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)Contribute to observability and monitoring practicesCollaborate across engineering, product, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes About You Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Engineer working across frontend and backendAdvanced TypeScript / JavaScript skills, ideally with Node.js in production environmentsStrong React experience, building modern, maintainable UIsExperience delivering production workloads on Google Cloud PlatformStrong understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable web architecturesSolid database experience (PostgreSQL / SQL Server) and comfort working with data-heavy systemsExposure to infrastructure and DevOps practices: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CDConfident taking ownership and working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environmentsStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Benefits Salary: £50k-£80kHybrid working modelFantastic PTO and holidaysHome office equipment providedPrivate healthcare including dental planRegular social events and wellness activities To find out more about this opportunity, hit Apply or reach out to a member of the Enso Recruitment team today!✉️📞
