Would you like to turn a documentation landscape that has grown over many years into an automated, AI-first platform, with Git, CI/CD and quality encoded in checks rather than preached in guidelines? You don’t write documentation, you build and operate the system. Tasks You help design and build the documentation platform end to end: content sources, site generation, per-customer and per-locale publishing.You build and maintain the release pipeline in Jenkins, Gradle and Artifactory, from commit to the delivered customer package, plus the integrations to our Resource Service and terminology systems.You write and evolve our AI Skills as versioned code and cover the technical side: context and retrieval data, CI integration, and an evaluation harness that proves a change is an improvement.You turn our quality standards into automation: terminology as machine-readable data, link and structure validation, and gates that stop a non-compliant page from shipping.You make the tooling usable in everyday development and support adoption in the teams, so documentation becomes part of the Definition of Done.You help run the platform on premise or in a vendor cloud and keep it current; major open-source upgrades are part of the normal rhythm, not a project.You work with the documentation, developer-productivity and architecture teams, and you help shape and justify our technology decisions. Requirements Engineering: 4+ years as a software engineer. Git and pull-request workflows are your natural way of working, and you have owned a CI/CD pipeline, not just used one. Solid in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java or Kotlin, and you integrate against third-party APIs, MCP included.AI engineering: Production experience with LLM-based applications, including a method for measuring output quality, not occasional prompting.Documentation systems thinking: You understand documentation as a system, with content models, doc types, reuse, localization and delivery formats, and you can argue tool trade-offs. Tools are learnable; this way of thinking is not. Experience in a DocOps or documentation-platform role is the closest match.Ways of working: You think in terms of the users of your tools, take ownership from concept to production, and finish what you start. You will be defining the standards of the future, so ambiguity shouldn’t throw you off. You use AI as a matter of course in your own work.English: Very good, written and spoken.Education: A degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.A big plus: You have set up a docs-as-code documentation system yourself, or moved documentation out of a CMS into docs-as-code.
