About Pixaera Pixaera builds immersive and AI-generated health & safety training used by industrial workforces — mining, oil & gas, energy and data centres. Our platform trains thousands of people every day for enterprise customers across Europe and the Middle East. We are a small, senior, remote-first engineering team, and we are now building an engineering presence in Amman. The role in one line An infrastructure engineer who can confidently own production systems end to end, and who instinctively automates anything that shouldn't need a human. What you'll actually work on Full-stack infrastructure ownership. Deep, hands-on experience across cloud, CI/CD, monitoring, security and developer experience. You make infrastructure decisions independently, drive platform modernisation, and are trusted with productionReliability leadership. You set and track SLOs (uptime, deploy frequency, recovery time), own incident response, and build the runbooks and practices that make on-call sustainableBuild and pipeline architecture. You design reusable, versioned CI/CD workflows and manage self-hosted runner fleets as code, with golden images and self-healing. Unreal Engine or Windows build experience is a strong plusScaling compute-heavy workloads. You've scaled long-running render or batch workloads and taken designs from paper to productionCloud cost strategy. You have a track record of measurable savings through tagging, right-sizing, spot and reserved capacity, and spend visibilitySecurity and compliance. You bring expertise in secrets management, least-privilege access and patching. Experience with SOC 2, pen testing, and enterprise security reviews is valued Our stack Cloud: AWS as primary — multi-account (management / dev / staging / production), multi-region (Frankfurt and UAE).
