is looking for a motivated DevOps & Backend Engineer to join our team in Kathmandu.
This is a hands-on role combining backend development, cloud infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps, with opportunities to work on AI-enabled products and modern software systems.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain DevOps infrastructure using Docker, Docker Compose, Git, GitHub, and AWSDeploy and manage containerized applications on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, networking, secrets management, monitoring)Maintain CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and Git workflowsDevelop scalable REST APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQLDesign and optimize database schemas, queries, and migrationsImplement authentication, authorization, security, and data protectionIntegrate third-party APIs and external systemsTroubleshoot and maintain production applications and cloud infrastructureCollaborate with frontend and other technical team membersContribute to future AI/LLM and RAG-based product capabilities
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field1+ year of practical experience in DevOps and backend developmentHands-on experience with Python, FastAPI (or similar), Docker, Git, and AWS or equivalent cloud platformsWorking knowledge of REST APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL, authentication, authorization, and API integrationFamiliarity with cloud deployment, monitoring, and troubleshootingStrong problem-solving and collaboration skillsGood communication skills in English and NepaliCandidates should be able to demonstrate practical work through projects, GitHub repositories, portfolios, or code samples
Good to Have
Basic knowledge of AI/LLM integrationExposure to LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, embeddings, or RAGBasic understanding of React and TypeScript
