Today, much of the logic behind our sales and installations still lives in multiple systems, workflows, and temporary scripts. We're moving it into QuattOS. You'll own the planning core: preparing the work and getting the right installers and materials to the right house. AI writes most of our code; you bring the architecture, the judgment, and the quality bar. At Quatt, we're building the tech behind the energy transition. We grew from 25 to 200+ people in a few years, and our software grew with us: a configurator where homeowners design their system, tools our advisors quote with, the planning that sends an installer to the right house with the right materials, and the payments from first deposit to final invoice. Stack: TypeScript, Node.js (AdonisJS), PostgreSQL and React/Next.js on AWS, integrated with external software such as HubSpot, Skedulo, NetSuite and Stripe. What You’ll Do Plan the installation work: turn a signed quote into a plan of jobs (installation, electrical, delivery, pick-up) with the right dependencies, skills, and number of installers, and push it to Skedulo, our field-service platform.Build and evolve the backend the services and data model behind our full sales-to-installation process, designed to grow with volume.Build & own the tools our teams use for sales, work prep, and installers to prepare the entire installation; our tools are great if they leverage the added value people.Connect stock to the plan: sync warehouse stock, deliveries, and orders with installation planning, so installers know what they have and what's coming. What's nice if you bring it: You want to make a positive impact on the world and fight climate change.3+ years of engineering experience, with strong TypeScript across the stack and depth on the backend (we use Node.js) and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Solid data architecture: you think the backend through before you build it, so it stays scalable, maintainable, and flexible as the business changes.Event-driven systems: you've built with webhooks, queues and background workers, and know how to handle retries, ordering and idempotency when integrating third-party platforms.You take ownership beyond the merge: you write thorough tests, monitor what you ship, and can debug a production issue from a click in one of our tools to the external platform behind it.You build with AI every day: you direct it, review its output as if you wrote it yourself, and know where it quietly gets things wrong. Your value is system design, judgment, and quality control, not typing speed. What you bring: Experience in logistics, planning, finance, or field-service software.Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (Pulumi or Terraform).
