About The Role
We're looking for a Python Developer to join our team and help build the backend services that power a food traceability engine.
You'll work on a system centred on connected data (events, locations, products and the relationships between them) and on the integrations that keep that data flowing between our partners and our platform.
This is a hands-on role for someone who likes clean, typed, well-tested code, and who can take an ambiguous problem, break it down, and see it through to production.
What you'll do
Build and maintain Python services using FastAPI, async patterns and MongoDB with the Beanie ODMModel and query connected data (events, locations, products) and design efficient ways to traverse the relationships between themWrite and maintain connectors, integrations that reliably move data between partner systems and our platformShip with tests, code review and CI from day oneCollaborate closely with the team: take part in standups, keep project tracking up to date, and raise questions and blockers early
