Join a multidisciplinary delivery team working across enterprise Azure cloud environments, application services and the integration of cloud and on-premises technologies.
This role sits at the intersection of cloud engineering and software development.
We’re looking for someone whose current strengths are on the Azure cloud side, but who brings a strong development foundation and is comfortable working with code, APIs, automation and modern software delivery practices.
The Role
Working within a specialist delivery team, you’ll contribute to the development, automation and ongoing improvement of enterprise cloud environments and the applications that operate across them.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Engineering and supporting solutions across Microsoft Azure and integrated on-premises environmentsUsing software development skills across .NET, C#, SQL and REST APIsContributing to cloud provisioning, automation and Infrastructure as CodeBuilding and improving CI/CD and Azure DevOps pipeline automationWorking collaboratively within an Agile delivery team across development, testing, integration and technical documentation
About You
We’re particularly interested in:
Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud engineering experience within enterprise environmentsA software engineering or development background, with capability across .NET, C#, SQL or other object-oriented programming languagesExperience provisioning and managing cloud technologies and infrastructureExperience with REST APIs and integration between cloud and on-premises systemsStrong understanding of CI/CD, source control and modern software delivery practicesExperience with Infrastructure as Code and automationExperience working within fast-paced Agile delivery environmentsExposure to Azure DevOps pipeline automation, Azure Data environments, PowerShell/Bash, automated testing and JavaScript/TypeScript would be highly regarded
