About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team at Meyandy LLC, focusing on the manufacturing domain. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our innovative cloud-based platform that redefines technical procurement. Based in Munich or Deggendorf, the Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, extending, and optimizing backend applications primarily using .NET/C#. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a keen understanding of industrial data, and the ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and industry, contributing directly to the enhancement of our AI platform and the future of manufacturing procurement. Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification. They should have several years of professional experience in backend development with .NET/C#, demonstrating proficiency in building robust, scalable applications. Experience working with complex technical or industrial data is essential, along with a solid understanding of components, technical drawings, manufacturing technologies, and industrial processes. Familiarity with data structures related to CAD, PLM, PDM, or ERP systems is highly advantageous. The candidate should be comfortable working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies. A solution-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to existing software architectures are crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and extending modern backend applications using .NET/C#, ensuring high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and documentation. They will maintain and enhance parts of the import pipeline for component and customer data, including clustering and customer data-related tool endpoints. Collaborating closely with the Customer Success team, the developer will translate customer feedback and requirements into effective technical solutions. Building and maintaining customer data-related tool endpoints, configurations, mappings, and settings will be a core part of the role. Additionally, the developer will implement new calculation algorithms, validate their accuracy, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Maintaining master data, material data, standards, and manufacturing databases will also fall under their responsibilities, along with providing technical guidance to AI and feature extraction teams to support ongoing development and innovation.
