Description

We are looking for an experienced *Software Engineer* to develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, quality standards, and application support SLAs. ### Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain application code in accordance with defined *coding standards, development practices, and architecture guidelines*. * Design, develop, and execute *unit test plans* and automated unit test cases to ensure application quality and reliability. * Participate in *technical design discussions, documentation, and design reviews*. * Follow the complete *Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)* across both *Waterfall and Agile methodologies*. * Perform application support activities, including: * Incident Management * Problem Management * Change Management * Root-cause analysis and issue resolution * Ensure adherence to defined *support SLAs* and timely resolution of application support tickets. * Perform *peer code reviews* and ensure compliance with established coding and quality standards. * Identify and resolve code-quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. * Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, business stakeholders, and support teams throughout the application lifecycle. * Prepare and maintain relevant *technical and design documentation*. ### Required Skills * *4+ years of hands-on software development experience*. * Strong understanding of *SDLC* and software engineering practices. * Experience working in both *Agile and Waterfall* development environments. * Strong knowledge of *unit testing and automated testing practices*. * Experience with *application support and production issue management*. * Understanding of *Incident, Problem, and Change Management* processes. * Strong knowledge of *code quality, coding standards, and peer review practices*. * Good understanding of *software architecture and design principles*. * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Good communication and documentation skills. ### Technical Certifications * Relevant *technical/professional certifications* will be an advantage. ### Core Competencies * Software Development * Application Support * Unit Testing & Automation * Code Review * SDLC * Agile & Waterfall * Incident Management * Problem Management * Change Management * SLA Management * Technical Documentation * Quality & Coding Standards
