Sales Development Representative | Sydney Factor is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in Sydney. We work with senior executives from some of the largest organisations across Australia, Singapore and the UK, connecting them through our executive events, research, advisory programs and technology platforms. This role is suited to someone at the beginning of their sales career who wants to develop their commercial skills and progress into a full cycle sales role. What you'll be doing • Identifying and researching prospective clients and target accounts • Reaching out to prospects through phone, email and LinkedIn • Speaking with senior decision-makers across technology and business • Qualifying opportunities and setting up meetings for the sales team • Building and managing your own pipeline • Working alongside the wider sales team on active accounts and opportunities • Learning how to sell across our events, research, advisory and technology offerings There will be a strong focus on outbound prospecting, so you need to be comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you haven't spoken to before. What we're looking for We're more interested in attitude and potential than years of experience. You should be confident speaking to people, comfortable working towards targets and willing to learn. You'll need to be organised, resilient and able to take feedback on board quickly. Previous experience in sales, recruitment, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing role would be useful, but isn't essential.
