The Japanese Finance industry is experiencing a period of transformation, and the goal of this Core Banking System is to make finance more accessible! As the business grows, it's necessary to strengthen the engineering team in order to take on new projects.
As Backend Engineer, you would join a team where engineers are actively involved in planning, designing, and coding the core banking system and business logic from 0 to 1, including adding new features and integrations, while working closely with top leadership.
What would you be doing?
Develop + operate backend applications of new core banking system.Design systems and architecture for high reliability necessary for a financial platform.Investigate + implement infrastructure to resolve system challenges.Performance tuning, monitoring settings, and alert response for microservices.

What experience are we looking for this position?
4+ Years Experience in Backend development, preferably in Banking or Finance.Hands-on Experience in Java or C.Understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and the basics of Object-Oriented Programming.Business-level in English OR Japanese (Recommended equivalent to JLPT N1 or TOEIC 800).
