We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes’ luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Essential functions: Support supplier industrialization activities during new vehicle launchesMonitor supplier readiness and milestone achievement throughout the development processAssist with supplier performance tracking and KPI reportingParticipate in supplier risk assessments and follow-up activitiesSupport preparation of management presentations and executive summariesSupport development and improvement of digital reporting and dashboard tools Other regular daily tasks: Update supplier readiness and project tracking reportsPrepare meeting minutes and action item follow-upSupport Quality engineers on day to day tasksSupport data collection and reporting for management reviewsParticipate in cross-functional project meetings and workshops QualifikationenEducation, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
