Your role:
As Software Engineer (m/f/d) in our product team Demand and Pricing, you play a key role in building data products around prices and promotions You develop, operate, and maintain REST APIs and our data and analytics platforms You automate and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, with a strong focus on scalability and reliability You support and enable colleagues through pair programming and code reviews As a sparring partner for the Product Owner and Tech Lead, you shape the product vision by defining requirements and refining tickets
Your profile:
At least three years of relevant professional experience as a Software Engineer or Data Engineer Solid programming skills in Python, especially in scalable, high-throughput data processing contexts Basic knowledge of another programming language, e.g., Go or JavaScript Ability to design, build, deploy, and operate scalable, reliable services in production, following the "You build it, you own it, you run it" mindset Proven hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, BigQuery), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), cloud platforms (GCP), and cloud monitoring (Datadog)Experience in agile development teams and with project management tools, ideally with the Atlassian suite Fluent in English, German knowledge is nice-to-have but not required
