Job Description / About the Role The Software Developer is responsible for contributing to the development, maintenance and support of CreditWorks software applications, services and integrations. Working as part of our development team, you'll be involved across a wide range of projects including web applications, APIs, data integrations, automation initiatives and internal business systems. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers, gain exposure to modern development practices and technologies, and contribute to solutions that deliver real commercial value to our customers and business. Key responsibilities: · Develop, maintain and enhance software applications and services used across the CreditWorks Group. · Assist with the design, development and support of APIs, system integrations and automation solutions. · Work across both frontend and backend components of applications. · Write clean, maintainable and well-structured code in accordance with development standards and best practices. · Assist with database development, data management and application troubleshooting. · Participate in testing, quality assurance and peer code reviews. · Investigate and resolve application issues and defects. · Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing activities. · Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders and other team members to deliver successful technology outcomes. · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system performance, reliability and user experience. Qualifications & Experience / About You · A qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. · Experience developing applications using C# and .NET (must have) · An understanding of object-oriented programming principles. · Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. · An understanding of web application development concepts. · Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. · Exposure to source control tools such as Git. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Good written and verbal communication skills. · Demonstrated curiosity, initiative and a practical approach to problem solving. · The ability to work collaboratively and respond positively to feedback. Experience with Blazor, Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, Linux, Docker or AI-assisted development tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
