Job Title: Java/python developer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: -Hybrid -03 Employment Type: Full time Salary : CAD 125K/yearmax including 5% QPLC Domain: BFSI Application Deadline: Oct. 15th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience: 8-10 YearsDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable microservices, backend applications, and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.Translate business and technical requirements into pragmatic solution designs, estimates, prototypes, and production-ready implementations aligned with architecture and security standards.Apply clean-code principles and automated testing, conduct code and design reviews, and maintain clear technical, API, and operational documentation.Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, containerized workloads, monitoring, logging, alerting, and other engineering automation.Own application reliability by troubleshooting complex defects and incidents, performing root-cause analysis, optimizing performance, and delivering sustainable remediation.Collaborate with product, architecture, security, quality engineering, DevOps, and dependent teams to manage delivery scope, risks, dependencies, and releases.Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, sharing standards and reusable patterns, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving continuous improvement across the team.
