Description
Your responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Linux environments based on RHEL, SLES, and Ubuntu.Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of platform services.Develop and improve infrastructure automation using Ansible and Infrastructure as Code practices.Implement and maintain GitOps and CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab and Argo CD.Monitor system health, analyse incidents, troubleshoot Linux and Kubernetes environments, and restore services efficiently.Collaborate with international IT teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of Linux and Kubernetes platforms.
Our requirements:
Completed higher education in computer science, engineering, or a comparable technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.At least five years of relevant experience in Linux administration, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or a comparable enterprise IT role.Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise Linux distributions, particularly RHEL, SLES, and Ubuntu.Practical experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster lifecycle management.Advanced experience with Ansible, automation, and scripting using Python and Unix Shell.Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, enabling effective work in an international environment.
An additional advantage will be:
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Argo CD-based GitOps workflows.Experience with VMware Kubernetes Solutions (VKS) and Cluster API environments.Practical experience with Golang for automation and platform engineering.Understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes, including incident, request, change, and problem management.Knowledge of Atlassian Jira or comparable service management tools.Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible, VMware, Cloud Native, or ITIL certifications.
