Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer - TS//SCI with CI Poly, to support a mission-critical government program in Herndon, VA (with potential future work location in Springfield, VA).
This opportunity supports the Hedgehog Program, focused on deployment, site support, and infrastructure initiatives.
DevOps Engineer | Responsibilities
Support deployment, administration, and automation efforts across Linux/Unix-based environments.Develop and maintain DevOps automation processes utilizing scripting and configuration management tools.Assist with standing up and supporting administrative and console network infrastructure to meet ATO objectives.Manage source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.Support HPC environments and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and system performance.
DevOps Engineer | Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start.Security+ certification required.5+ years of experience with a combination of SELinux, software development, scripting, and configuration management.Strong proficiency with Python, Perl, Korn Shell, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other Linux/Unix scripting languages.Experience with version control and DevOps tools including Git, GitLab, GitLab CI, SVN, and CVS.Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps deployment automation processes.Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
DevOps Engineer | Compensation
Salary Range: $210,000 - $245,000 (depends on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays.
