Job Description Front-End Software Development Engineer I Overview / Summary We are seeking a Front-End Software Development Engineer I to develop and maintain the front-end/client-side of applications, primarily web applications and, when applicable, mobile or mobile-responsive applications. This role will focus on designing and implementing user interfaces and user experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly and high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions. Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies. Follow architecture guidelines to maintain a unified and consistent approach to development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects. Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features. Participate in user interface design reviews and product demonstrations. Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development. Continuously improve application performance by fixing bugs and optimizing applications. Implement new technologies to improve development efficiency. Apply programming practices including cross-browser compatibility testing, SEO principles, and accessibility standards. Design, develop, and deliver user-friendly, interactive experiences using enterprise brand standards and templates. Develop using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as advanced frameworks such as React and Angular. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in user interface design. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 0–4 years of experience in software development. Experience or knowledge in Python. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems. Knowledge of databases. Familiarity with front-end development concepts and technologies. Experience or knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and/or Angular. Ability to perform functional automated testing and UI testing. Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility testing, SEO principles, and accessibility standards. Work Arrangement Hybrid position with 4 days onsite per week. Standard morning shift. Travel is not required.
