The organisation delivers secure, technology-led solutions across a range of complex public sector and government projects, giving you the opportunity to work on technically challenging environments alongside experienced engineers, consultants and technical specialists. The Role We’re looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to work across a variety of client engagements, helping to design, build and support secure, scalable cloud environments. The role is heavily focused on AWS, DevOps automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containerisation, with plenty of opportunity to work hands-on with modern cloud technologies and solve complex engineering challenges. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with clients, contribute to technical decisions and provide guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructureDevelop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelinesDeploy and manage containerised applications using KubernetesDevelop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similarAutomate deployment, monitoring and operational processesSupport the secure development, deployment and operation of software productsWork closely with development and engineering teams to improve delivery processes and platform capabilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and infrastructure issuesProvide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineersWork directly with clients to understand requirements and solve complex technical challengesContribute to Agile delivery practices including Scrum and KanbanKeep up to date with emerging AWS technologies and DevOps best practice What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on AWS experienceAWS infrastructure and core cloud servicesKubernetes and containerisationCI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolingInfrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform or CloudFormationLinux and cloud infrastructureAutomation and scriptingMonitoring, logging and operational toolingAgile engineering environmentsWorking directly with customers or technical stakeholdersMentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers You don’t need to have experience across every technology listed - strong AWS and DevOps fundamentals are key.
