Senior Python Engineer

About The Role In this role, you will cooperate with our Client, an intergovernmental organization that offers inventors a uniform application procedure for seeking patent protection in up to 40 European countries. You will contribute to the digital transformation of the patent granting process and corporate services, working on resilient infrastructure built to the highest standards of IT security. You will join a growing SoftServe team working across several streams, including a data analytics platform and web, mobile, and integration applications. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performanceOptimize application performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and accuracyWork closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and build custom applicationsDevelop and maintain microservices that support the applications and integrate seamlessly with the wider landscapeWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and industry standardsTroubleshoot and debug issues in production environments, and conduct thorough testing to maintain system stability and reliabilityWork with stakeholders to scope applications and confirm they meet business needsMaintain clear and comprehensive documentation of engineering processes and outcomes, and share techniques with the team Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience with Python developmentProficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPIExperience with cloud platformsKnowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and hands-on experience with ORM toolsFamiliarity with version control systems, particularly GitStrong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment SoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
