About The Role We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team at Samprasoft. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that meet client and end-user needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including testing, design, and project management, to deliver robust solutions on time and within scope. Your expertise will help troubleshoot complex issues, optimize existing systems, and implement new features that enhance functionality and user experience. Qualifications A four-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional training and experience.Between 3 to 5 years of proven experience in software development and programming.Proficiency in PHP programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles.Experience working with the Slim Framework is essential.Knowledge of front-end technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, and CSS is a plus.Experience with migrating legacy PHP applications to the latest versions is advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive needs analysis by collaborating with clients and end users to understand their requirements.Design, develop, and implement new software components, reports, and system features in accordance with company and client standards.Code high-quality, maintainable, and efficient software solutions, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Conduct thorough testing of all code to ensure functionality, performance, and security.Partner with the testing team to execute regression testing and quality assurance processes.Engage with customers and end users to gather feedback and ensure that software modifications align with their expectations.Assist fellow programming staff in analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.Implement relational database design and modeling, perform database maintenance, and manage backups as needed.Develop and update system and operational documentation for new and existing programs, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve development processes.Research and propose innovative solutions by integrating new technologies into existing systems.Participate in planning, designing, and evaluating software projects, providing technical guidance and leadership when required.Serve as a resource and mentor to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
