About The Role We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time remote WordPress Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing WordPress administration, development, and optimization efforts. Your primary focus will be on leading conversion projects, including site migrations and performance enhancements, while collaborating directly with business owners to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate design mockups into fully functional WordPress websites. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress administration and development.At least 3 years of experience in a lead capacity managing conversion projects.Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS, and JavaScript.Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.Hands-on experience with WordPress custom theme and plugin development.Strong understanding of website optimization, performance tuning, and cross-browser compatibility.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead and execute WordPress development projects, including site migrations, performance optimization, and feature enhancements.Convert design mockups into responsive, functional WordPress pages ensuring adherence to design specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues to ensure consistent user experience across all platforms.Collaborate closely with business owners to gather project requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery of projects.Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project needs.Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed and scalability.Monitor and maintain website security, backups, and updates to ensure stability and data integrity.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and website quality.
