Cloud Developer (AWS / Infrastructure as Code) with Security Clearance

Build the automation that enterprise developers depend on. Linchpin Software is growing, and we're looking for a Cloud Developer to join a team of AWS services engineers building an automated, self-service platform for enterprise developer services. You'll turn manual, ticket-driven work into code: repeatable infrastructure, clean pipelines, and services that just work for the developers who rely on them. We build software differently. Our engineers use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, GitLab Duo) every day to move faster and ship higher-quality work. What You'll Do: Design and build AWS infrastructure entirely as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) Automate provisioning, onboarding, and developer workflows end to end Build and improve CI/CD pipelines that deliver changes safely and quickly Troubleshoot production issues and resolve user-facing problems with the team Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and documentation Required: Active Top Secret clearance 5+ years of software, cloud, or DevOps engineering experience Hands-on experience with AWS Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar) Ability to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DC (20024) Preferred: Experience supporting production systems and resolving user-facing issues Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or GitLab CI Curiosity about AI-assisted development What You'll Gain: A platform you build from the ground up, not just maintain Daily hands-on work with AWS and modern automation Real experience using AI to multiply your engineering output A collaborative team on a stable, long-term mission program Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000, plus competitive benefits.
