Software Engineer Robotics

We develop and produce autonomous agricultural vehicles, combined with a cloud-based planning platform. To achieve this, we use modern technologies in robotics, autonomous systems, software development and cloud solutions. What will you do? As a Software Engineer Robotics (Perception), you will work on software that enables our autonomous vehicles to understand and interact with their environment. You will: Develop new features for our autonomous vehicles from concept to implementationCreate and integrate software and algorithms for our autonomous vehiclesDevelop and improve perception-related functionalityTest your software in simulation and, when needed, directly on our robots and tractors in the fieldResearch existing technologies and solutions for new featuresImprove and maintain existing softwareDevelop communication interfaces between different controllers and modulesDeliver high-quality, maintainable software following proper development processesWork in an agile team and deliver continuously in an iterative way What are we looking for? You bring: A passion for robotics, technology and automationStrong C++ programming skillsExperience with Linux and software development on LinuxStrong analytical and system-thinking skillsA creative, hands-on and problem-solving mindsetGood communication skills and the ability to work in a teamA Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science or a related technical fieldGood communication skills in Dutch and English; German is a plusHands-on experience with mobile robot control is a plus What can you expect from AgXeed?
