Frontend Engineer Intern

Please note: This is an unpaid internship intended for students, recent graduates, or early-career developers who already have practical frontend development experience and want hands-on startup, SaaS, and portfolio-building experience. Role Description We are looking for a Frontend Engineer Intern to help build the first production version of the EXIFY+ web application. In this role, you will work closely with the founder, UX/UI team, and future engineering team to translate completed product designs, user flows, and feature requirements into responsive, maintainable frontend experiences. This is not a basic observation role. You will work on real product features including authentication, onboarding, business-profile creation, adaptive questionnaires, financial dashboards, valuation results, exit-readiness scoring, progress tracking, settings, and other core SaaS workflows. Key Responsibilities Translate Figma designs into responsive, production-quality frontend interfacesBuild reusable components and scalable frontend architectureDevelop onboarding, authentication, business-profile, and account-management flowsImplement interactive dashboards, financial data displays, and valuation interfacesBuild dynamic forms and adaptive questionnaire experiencesDevelop interfaces for EXIFY+ exit-readiness scoring and business improvement recommendationsIntegrate frontend components with APIs and backend servicesHandle loading, validation, error, empty, and success statesMaintain consistency with the EXIFY+ design system and component libraryCollaborate with the founder and UX/UI team during implementation and iterationParticipate in code reviews and maintain clear technical documentationAttend bi-weekly remote team meetings to share progress and align on priorities What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience building a real early-stage SaaS productPortfolio-ready work across dashboards, fintech interfaces, forms, onboarding, and data-heavy applicationsPractical exposure to frontend architecture, API integration, design systems, and product engineeringExperience working directly with UX/UI designs and translating them into production softwareExposure to fintech, business valuation, M&A technology, and AI-assisted SaaS productsThe opportunity to take ownership of meaningful features from design through implementation Required Qualifications Practical frontend development experience through internships, freelance work, school projects, personal projects, startup work, or portfolio projectsStrong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScriptExperience with React or a similar modern frontend frameworkUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and component-based developmentExperience working with Git and GitHubAbility to translate Figma designs into clean, functional interfacesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently in an early-stage environmentClear communication skills in a remote team environmentFluent English communication skillsGitHub profile, portfolio, or project examples required Preferred Qualifications Experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScriptFamiliarity with Tailwind CSS or similar styling systemsExperience integrating REST APIs or backend servicesExperience with authentication and user account systemsExperience building SaaS dashboards, fintech tools, business software, or data-heavy interfacesFamiliarity with charting and data visualization librariesExperience with form validation and complex multi-step formsFamiliarity with accessibility and responsive web development best practicesInterest in startups, fintech, business valuation, entrepreneurship, or M&A technology
