Description

Coltech has secured a major cloud transformation programme with a fast-growing FinTech, and we are looking for an experience Senior DevOps Engineer to join the project. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-impact engineering environment, helping to build, automate and operate the cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical financial products used across Europe. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure.Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments across development and production.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform.Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.Monitor and improve the reliability, performance and availability of cloud environments.Support cloud security initiatives, including IAM, networking and access controls.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues across production environments. Experience Strong commercial experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.Hands-on experience with GCP.Strong experience with Kubernetes, ideally GKE.Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.Experience with Docker and containerisation.Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM and security.Experience supporting and troubleshooting production cloud environments.Strong understanding of automation, deployment and infrastructure management.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
