Role Description:
As a Full Stack Developer at Palm Mind AI, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product managers, and designers to implement user-facing features, build RESTful APIs, and integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services and AI components.
Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, optimizing application performance, managing databases, troubleshooting issues, and participating in code reviews.
You will also contribute to improving development workflows, documenting technical solutions, and supporting deployment processes.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in the full stack (Postgres, MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js, ORM) and JavaScript/TypeScript for full-stack web development.4-5 years of experience in related field.Experience with RESTful API design, integration of third-party services, and handling JSON-based data flows.Knowledge of front-end best practices including responsive UI, state management (e.g., Redux or similar), and component-based architecture.Experience with back-end development concepts such as authentication/authorization, data modeling, and error handling.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.Prior experience of working in SaaS project.Understanding of working with AI/ML services or APIs, or interest in collaborating closely with AI engineering teams.Ability to write clean, maintainable code, conduct unit and integration testing, and participate in peer code reviews.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is an advantage.
