VP Product Owner

The Team sit within Citi’s Enterprise Data Office and have a focus on serving our business partners within ICM. Institutional Credit Management (ICM) aims to provide integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, and management of risks for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. This data and product development role will help shape the portfolio, limits & collateral target state process, data & capabilities across business lines, through engagement with 1st line teams, technology & individual business product teams. The candidate will serve as a strategic product leader accountable for defining, executing, and scaling end-to-end product vision across high-impact business domains. Operating with an enterprise mindset, the VP Product Owner bridges business strategy, customer needs, architecture, and engineering execution. What You’ll Do Define, champion, and own the multi-quarter and multi-year product strategy aligned with business priorities and organizational objectivesManages complex cross-functional stakeholder ecosystemsInteract with senior business stakeholders to understand their problem statement & design technical & process-based tactical & strategic solutions, using data-driven approachesCreate a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding road-map to deliveryAct as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, as well as the data & analytics subject matter expect (SME), providing regular updates on project progress and addressing feedback independentlyProactively identify opportunities to enhance products and processes to improve efficiency and decision-makingIdentify data patterns & trends, and provide insights to business stakeholdersInteract with Risk, Product & Technology to distil long term vision, industry trends, and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy What We’ll Need From You Ability to connect macro-level enterprise strategy to micro-level engineering delivery; identify downstream impacts across interconnected enterprise systemsExperience in product development, credit risk, or technology roles ideally in bankingCredit Risk knowledge & experienceData & Analytics, and data visualization / business intelligence knowledge & experienceExperience in end-to-end project delivery, with knowledge of analytical tools for visualization (e.g. Tableau) and an ability to manipulate data using SQL and/or PythonStrong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectivelyA proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentKeen attention to detail and process/analytic mindsetProject Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives What We’ll Provide You By joining Citi Belfast, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed), and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits such as: 27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)A discretional annual performance related bonusPrivate Medical Care & Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramPension PlanPaid Parental LeaveSpecial discounts for employees, family, and friendsAccess to an array of learning and development resources Visit our Global Benefits page to learn more.
