Your role:
As a Cloud Frontend Engineer, you significantly shape the technological vision and architectural alignment of our front-end interfaces for different cloud services.You define standards for the touchpoints that our customers use for their managed cloud infrastructure, and ensure that STACKIT provides a use-case centered UX and a first-class developer experience.
The impact you will create:
You define and are responsible for the frontend architecture and user interfaces for various cloud services (XaaS) based on Angular.You work within modern monorepo architectures (e.g., NX), maintaining and evolving the setup to support scalable development.You drive complex, interdisciplinary technical initiatives and accompany them from strategic planning to successful establishment in the frontend engineering area.In close collaboration with UI/UX designers, you analyze use cases and transform complex technical workflows (such as cloud networking, storage, or cluster management) into intuitive user experiences.You establish best practices for clean code, state management, and software quality, working with standard CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery.
Experience and skills you will need:
Frontend Engineering Background: 4+ years of extensive experience building complex web applications with Angular (or comparable frameworks like React/Vue) with a solid understanding of clean code and state management.Monorepo & Tooling: Practical experience working with monorepos (preferably NX) and modern version control (Git).Cloud & Domain Awareness: Understanding of basic cloud infrastructure concepts (e.g., databases, Kubernetes, IAM, networking) or a strong motivation to dive deep into the cloud domain.Agile & Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working in Scrum teams, collaborating closely with UX designers, and operating in an enterprise environment.Continuous Delivery: Basic familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Communication: Confident communication skills in English for global collaboration; German knowledge is a plus.
