As a Java Developer, you will support the development, enhancement, and operation of ContiTrade's Fleet Solutions, a business-critical platform serving fleet customers and partner networks across EMEA.
Working closely with developers, solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based solutionsAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsSupport application integrations with internal and external systemsCollaborate with team members to design scalable and maintainable software architecturesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issuesParticipate in testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activitiesSupport application operations, upgrades, and continuous improvementsContribute to incident, change, and service management processes
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Experience in Java Web Development incl.
Spring FrameworkKnowledge of unit and integration testingGood understanding of relational databases and RESTful Web Services
Collaboration & Ways of Working
Good English communication skillsExperience working in cross-functional and international teamsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, BMC, or similar ticketing systems
AI-Enabled Development
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub CopilotUnderstanding of AI-supported software engineering practices, including code generation, debugging, testing, and documentationAbility to leverage AI effectively while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability
