About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our core systems team at our Dortmund location. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the flexibility of working up to 80% remotely within Germany. As a Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development and enhancement of our in-house software solutions. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of approximately 15 developers, contributing to the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable and reliable services that support our healthcare-focused financial services. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have a solid educational background in computer science or a related field, such as a completed degree or equivalent vocational training. You should possess several years of professional experience in Java software development, with a strong understanding of SQL databases. Fluency in German is essential for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with Delphi and Object Pascal is advantageous but not mandatory. You should have a good grasp of modern software development practices, including clean coding, testing, and documentation. Additionally, a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are key attributes for this position.
