Job Title : Senior Dotnet Developer Location : Sydney Mode: Permanent Job Description: Role Overview We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern software engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET technologies.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.Develop scalable backend services using ASP.NET Core.Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and Solution Architects.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in .NET development.Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/8, and ASP.NET Core.Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.Strong SQL Server experience, including performance tuning and stored procedures.Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ.Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).Experience with Git and modern source control practices.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Preferred Skills Azure or AWS cloud experience.Docker and Kubernetes.Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.Messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.Front-end experience with Angular, React, or Blazor.Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or OpenAI Codex.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Microsoft Azure or .NET certifications are advantageous.
