DevOps Engineer

Ridango Group is one of the world's most experienced providers of account-based ticketing, fleet management, real-time passenger information, data-driven insights, and route optimisation systems. We're on a mission to make public transport smarter and more efficient through technology. We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Estonia or Slovenia (Ljubljana, Maribor). Candidates must already be based in one of these two countries. What you'll do: Infrastructure Keep Ridango's infrastructure stack running reliably: servers, Kubernetes clusters, databases, monitoring and backupsSet up and manage virtual and on-prem servers, including monitoring, logging and backupsMaintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments for infra resources, reducing manual operationOperate Kubernetes clusters (cloud and on-prem) and migrate workloads onto themHelp design, build and run the Kubernetes-based AVL 2.0 platform, with a strong focus on availability, redundancy and DRAutomation Build and maintain infrastructure as code and configuration automation (Ansible, Salt, Terraform)Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments, reducing manual operationsSecurity and compliance Apply strict access and security principles across our infrastructureDrive improvements from our cybersecurity roadmap and help us meet ISMS requirements and keep our ISO 27001 certificationWork with our InfoSec Board on access governance, logging, security controls and auditsOperations Resolve infrastructure incidents, prioritise tickets and take part in 2nd-level on-callWork closely with Engineering, Support and Internal IT on deployments, performance, incident handling, VPN, certificates and identity integrations What we're looking for: Strong hands-on skills in Linux, networking, PostgreSQL and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD and IaC tooling (Ansible, Salt and/or Terraform)Experience designing and running highly available, redundant systems, including disaster recoveryA security-first mindset and awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001/ISMS experience is a plus)Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to dig deep, including into open-source codeGood collaboration and communication skills, and readiness to take part in on-callFluent English Nice to have: Experience migrating existing systems to KubernetesBackground in public transport, mobility or other mission-critical systems We offer: An opportunity to participate in high-impact system development with a combination of hardware and software that influences billions of people around the globe.
