GECO Philippines is Hiring: Senior Java Developer Location: Alabang (Hybrid Setup) Employment Type: Full-Time We're looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. This role is ideal for developers who thrive in modern Java environments and have hands-on experience building scalable microservices and cloud-ready solutions. What You'll Do Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and technical design discussions. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Support modernization initiatives, including legacy system transformation. What We're Looking For 7+ years of Java development experience. Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. Experience with full-stack web development (Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL). Solid understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.). Experience with JPA/Hibernate and ORM frameworks. Proficiency with Git, Maven, and modern development tools. Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Experience migrating monolithic applications to microservices.
