🚀 Senior Integration Developer (API and Microservices) - (EL1 Level) People Connect is looking to connect with experienced Senior Integration Developer (API and Microservices) - (EL1 Level) for a 3-year Federal Government engagement in Canberra and Sydney . If you enjoy working across cloud architecture, Azure platforms, solution design, automation and enterprise environments, this could be a great opportunity to explore. 📍 Canberra / Sydney – Onsite, flexible arrangements where operationally permitted 🇦🇺 Australian Citizen | Baseline 📅 Start: 26 October 2026 ⏳ 12 months + 12 months + 12 months 💼 EL1 Equivalent | 40 hours/week 🔹 What you’ll be working on We’re looking for a Senior Integration Developer to work on a business application transformation program, helping establish Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture and modern AI-enabled engineering practices. Key areas include: • 5+ years in API-led & event-driven integration • Microservices & API-first architecture • REST APIs | JSON/XML | OpenAPI/Swagger | API Gateways • Kafka | RabbitMQ | Service Bus | Event Grid • Docker | Kubernetes • .NET | Java | Node.js | Python • OAuth2 | OpenID Connect | JWT | Managed Identity • CI/CD | DevSecOps | Automated Testing | Observability • Cloud-native integration & platform engineering • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration What you’ll be doing Design, develop, test and support secure, scalable integration solutions, work closely with architects and stakeholders, and contribute to modern engineering practices, reusable integration patterns and capability uplift. 🎯 Government / regulated enterprise experience is desirable. 📩 Interested?
