We’re rebuilding and unbundling the core of Stripe so that no matter what the business, the location or use-case there is a single place that can fulfil all financial needs: Stripe Treasury. What you’ll do Full-stack engineers at Stripe are comfortable working on new products under fluid conditions, seamlessly balancing tactical and strategic considerations. Responsibilities Scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for our products to iteratively evolve and scaleDesign, build, expand and maintain UIs their related APIs and servicesWork with our partners to design and launch new features and capabilitiesAlign our technical decisions with Stripe’s broad strategic initiatives, while also advocating for needs specific to emerging new businessesWork with engineers across the company to understand when existing infrastructure can be leveraged vs. when building a bespoke solution is prudentDevelop and execute against both short- and long-term roadmaps. Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation Who you are We’re looking for fullstack software engineers with experience building scalable products who have an eye for detail and are happy delivering changes at any layer of the technical stack. Minimum Requirements Have a strong technical background, including 3+ years of industry experience building high quality code and infrastructureHave experience in ensuring great user experience and ease of use of features and products you buildUnderstand good practices of building and working with UIs and APIsMeasure your success in terms of business impact, not lines of codeInternalize the best ideas from across the organization, humbly setting a vision that others are excited to get behindWork well cross-functionally and earn trust from co-workers at all levels.
