Role Description: The Web Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in London, ON. The person in this role will build, maintain, and optimize websites that support client branding and customer experience objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs and third-party services, and ensuring sites are responsive, accessible, and performant. The Web Developer will collaborate with designers and branding strategists to translate creative concepts into functional digital experiences, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards. Qualifications: 5+ years of professional web development experience is requiredStrong proficiency in HTML and CSS, with solid working knowledge of JavaScript and PHPDemonstrated experience developing and maintaining WordPress websitesProven experience working with WooCommerce and ShopifyStrong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibilityFamiliarity with React or other modern JavaScript frameworksExperience implementing APIs, forms, analytics and third-party website integrationsKnowledge of website performance optimization, technical SEO and accessibility best practicesExperience troubleshooting website functionality, compatibility and performance issuesFamiliarity with Git/version control and modern development workflowsWorking knowledge of hosting environments, domains, DNS, website migrations and deploymentsStrong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detailAbility to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment Required Soft Skills: Solutions-focused, resourceful and persistent when troubleshooting technical challengesAccountable and dependable with the ability to take ownership of projects from development through launchHighly organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detailClear communicator who can explain technical information to non-technical team membersCollaborative and comfortable working closely with designers, marketers and other creative professionalsAdaptable and confident working across different websites, platforms and technologiesNaturally curious with an interest in continually learning and evolving alongside web technologiesFriendly, professional and committed to positively contributing to a collaborative team environmentTrustworthy with unwavering integrity Why Join The Branding Firm?
