Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Python Engineer with MLOps/GCP for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a broker platform that offers brokers real-time risk. In this role, you will help build a new document intelligence capability, productionizing text extraction across the platform and developing tools and frameworks that make LLM capabilities accessible across teams. This is a service/API-level role focused on backend engineering and platform capabilities. No UI development experience is required. Requirements Solid professional experience with Python.Hands-on experience with MLOps.Professional experience with GCP.Experience building high-quality platform capabilities and APIs.Experience working with infrastructure as code (IaC).Experience working as part of a cross-functional team, contributing throughout the project lifecycle.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.Willingness to take ownership and make informed technical decisions. Will be a plus Responsibilities Design, build, and productionize scalable backend services and APIs for document intelligence and text extraction.Contribute to the development of LLM-powered capabilities and solutions that support business workflows.Work across the full project lifecycle, from conception to delivery, as part of a cross-functional team.Apply infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices for deployment and environment management on GCP.Build tools and frameworks that make LLM capabilities accessible and reusable across teams.Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, system performance, scalability, and reliability.
