About The Role
The Frontend Engineer will build and evolve user-facing web applications used by customers to manage workflows, analyze data, and complete high-value tasks.
The role focuses on React and TypeScript development, with ownership spanning component architecture, state management, API integration, performance, and accessibility.
The engineer will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to turn complex product requirements into fast, reliable interfaces.
The work will directly shape how customers interact with core services, from initial prototypes through production releases and ongoing iteration.
Key Responsibilities
Build and ship production web experiences using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, with clear ownership from implementation through releaseDesign reusable UI components and application patterns that scale across multiple product surfaces and engineering teamsIntegrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling loading states, errors, caching, authentication, and real-time updatesImprove application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, bundle analysis, browser profiling, and Core Web Vitals monitoringWrite unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and PlaywrightCollaborate with product and design partners to translate Figma designs and user requirements into accessible, responsive interfacesReview code, document technical decisions, and contribute to frontend standards for testing, observability, accessibility, and deployment
What We Are Looking For
3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial frontend development in production environmentsStrong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React development, including hooks, component composition, and state managementExperience building and maintaining web applications with Next.js, Vite, or comparable frontend frameworks and build systemsPractical knowledge of frontend testing, including unit, integration, and browser-based end-to-end testingUnderstanding of responsive design, web accessibility standards such as WCAG, browser behavior, and frontend performance optimizationExperience collaborating in a modern development workflow using Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, and observability or error-tracking toolsBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; Bonus: experience with GraphQL, design systems, React Native, Storybook, or cloud platforms such as AWS
