The Role
Be a subject matter expert in underlying technologies, providing technical support to developers.
Prioritise engineering decisions and contribute to modernising DevOps practices through automation and AI-assisted engineering capabilities.
Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) and automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and Terraform.
Develop and maintain containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS), monitor performance, reliability, and scalability (DataDog).
Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration, deployment, and ensure security and compliance.
Implement and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and mentor team members for continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud technologies, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred), Ansible, Terraform, and YAML-based pipelines.
Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and scripting (Shell/PowerShell), with Python experience being advantageous.
Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and exposure to on-prem to cloud migration.
Knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL optimisation, familiarity with Control-M or scheduling tools, and experience in financial services environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a willingness to work in a hybrid model based in London.
