As a Senior Software Engineer embedded within a multifunctional team, you will collaborate with Product and Design counterparts to lead the UI implementation of Checkout.com products and services, ensuring our merchants enjoy an optimal experience across all frontend touchpoints. We seek engineers who are versatile, demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, and are enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full stack as we push technology forward. With your technical expertise, you will lead project priorities, manage deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. Qualifications Comprehensive skills in React and TypeScript: Capable of architecting complex applications, driving best practices, and mentoring others.Extensive experience in software development, design, and architecture, with a strong focus on securityExperience collaborating on software projects with both design and backend teamsExperience with Continuous Integration and Deployment workflowsCloud-based application development experienceStrong customer focus; building accessible applications with a great UXExperience leading tech initiatives, guiding your team and deliveringExperience building reliable, accessible and well-tested systems.Great communication skills and ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams Desirable Some experience with C# is nice to haveUnderstanding of common security vulnerabilities and performance issues in web applications and knowing how to debug themExperience with asynchronous, event-driven architectureDatabase experience with NoSQL, ElasticSearch or similar tool Additional Information Bring all of you to work We create the conditions for high performers to thrive, through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.
